This year’s theme “Science and Inventions” was enthusiastically received by all the participants, who exhibited the funniest and most imaginative masks.
From 9 to 19 March, demonstrations and events related to the carnival took place, culminating with the great parade on Saturday and the traditional “quema de la Sardina” (burning of the sardine) on Sunday night.
