discover <strong>a unique and magical place<\/strong>, it is a stop not to be missed even if, to reach it, the road is dirt and winding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cofete<\/strong> is a mysterious place that 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>To get there, we must take the detour that starts from the town of <strong>Morro Jable <\/strong> with the sign <strong>COFETE &#8211; EL PUERTITO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to do this visit with an off-road vehicle, but with great care it is possible to do it with a normal car. If you have rented it, check that in the contract it is allowed to go on dirt roads because almost always in these places the car is not covered by insurance. <\/p>\n<p>Following this dirt road route for about 8 kilometers, we find a sign on the right indicating <strong>Cofete<\/strong>. Here we are welcomed by sociable goats who run fearlessly around people because they are now used to tourists. <\/p>\n<p>Following the road you descend towards the <strong>small village<\/strong> of Cofete, being very careful, as the road is narrow and runs along a cliff. Around us we can admire the unspoiled nature and observe El Card\u00f3n, a typical plant of Fuerteventura that is a protected type of cactus. <\/p>\n<p>Once we reach Cofete, we can go and see the <strong>Winter Villa<\/strong>, always paying attention to the road. A two-storey villa with a tower built in 1946 by Ing. A 4&#215;4 vehicle is recommended. The journey takes about 45 minutes.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>By off-road taxi:<\/strong> There are local taxi services that use vehicles suitable for the dirt route. The journey takes about 45 minutes. <\/li>\n<li><strong>With organized tour:<\/strong> Several operators offer off-road excursions to Cofete, including explanations and scenic stops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From Corralejo<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>By car:<\/strong> Take FV-2 south to Morro Jable, then follow the dirt road to Cofete. The total journey takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. <\/li>\n<li><strong>By bus:<\/strong> Take a bus to Morro Jable, and from there, an off-road taxi or organized tour. The total journey takes more than 3 hours. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From Puerto del Rosario<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>By car:<\/strong> Follow FV-2 south to Morro Jable, then take the dirt road to Cofete. The journey takes about 2 hours. <\/li>\n<li><strong>By bus:<\/strong> Take a bus to Morro Jable and continue with an off-road taxi or organized tour. Travel times exceed 3 hours. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The road to Cofete is unpaved and can be challenging.
