A few hours’ flight from other European countries, Fuerteventura is the new stage for digital workers.
Sun, sea and low costs are among the reasons for choosing the island as a place to work. 
In the last year , Smart Working has increased significantly and about seven out of ten workers are using this method.
It is a new job opportunity that with Covid, by now, has also become an obligation for many.
Smart-Workers look for places where the internet line works well, they prefer fiber, whether they are hotels, apartments, clubs or co-working.
They are usually people who have a job that can be done remotely, with flexible hours and precise goals to achieve: gostwriters, life-coaches, copywriters, digital nomads, computer scientists of large companies, web developers, translators, social media managers, freelancers.
They are not on vacation but rather they are hard workers and usually, those who work from here, do not go to the beach often, but every day they still enjoy the good temperature that the island offers. 
Every now and then a break, a light meal in one of the restaurants near the sea, a walk and then back in front of the computer. Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands are already known as the paradise of thousands of European pensioners, especially Italians, English, Germans and even Spaniards, because in winter the climate is mild and the cost of living lower.

At the same time, co-working spaces are also developing, large offices or premises with adequate space where you can share the same environment taking advantage of excellent internet connections at low costs.
Smart working is a “revolutionary” concept of the way of working, very flexible, everyone decides how to distribute their work, from where to work or stay connected, in fact the place of our work is no longer the office but the Internet. 
You communicate with the company through email, chat, video call, zoom, webinar, etc.
Now perhaps it is an obligation for many companies to adopt it, but this working method is spreading and then remaining.
