The 29th edition of the Feria Insular de Artesania has begun, on this occasion we publish some photos of the artisans and their creations.
The handicraft fair that takes place in the city of Antigua is an event that involves not only the island of Fuerteventura, but also the other islands of the Canary archipelago, an important opportunity to admire all the typical Canarian handicrafts.
The 2016 edition of the Fair will take place from 12 to 15 May, from 10.00 to 21.00.
We remind you that on May 14th and 15th there will be a free bus service (Guaguas) to Antigua, with departures from Caleta de Fuste, Corralejo, Jandia, Gran Tarajal/Las Playitas.
The Fair is located near the Queso Majorero Museum, surrounded by a typical Fuerteventura landscape and with a beautiful garden with succulents of all shapes, where you can relax and stroll.
Two large pavilions welcome visitors where creations, both ancient and modern, of art, crafts, products and typical Canarian foods are exhibited.
On site there are artisans who work and create during the days of the fair, so that you can see how the various products are made.
This fair is an excellent opportunity to get to know Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands better.
